- Abstract: The Brazilian Center (WHO Collaborating Center for the Family of International Classifications in Portuguese) has a large experience in teaching physicians regarding the improvement of the declarations of causes of death in the death certificates. The Center published a Manual (Death Certificates: Medical, statistical and ethical aspects) that is distributed to physicians and medical students. Every month, one or two lectures are given to physicians, medical students and other health personnel all over the country. These lectures are made with the participation of Medical Associations, Schools of Medicine, Hospitals and other health services. Some type of evaluation has been done by the Brazilian Center.
