- Abstract: The noncarious cervical lesions's study deserves great appreciation. Its etiology is multifactorial and is normally related to attrition, abrasion, erosion, abfraction or the association among them. Dentinal exposure can occur causing discomfort, wich is given by hypersensibility, for the patient and, in some cases, esthetic compromising. A working criterion must be followed to conduct to a correct diagnostic,such as, observing the regions of dentinal exposure and the causative factors elaborating a plan of treatment adjusted for the case, preventing that posterior imperfections occur. There are different ways to treat these types of injuries, such as the diverse desensitizer techniques, as well as the restorations. As for the restoration of the injury, it is necessary to adopt the best technique for each situation. This report describes a clinical case of restoration of noncarious Class V lesions in the right upper second premolar with composite resin in a 38 years old male patient , trying to explain the chosen criterion during the planning of the case, with intention to increase the longevity of the restoring treatment and to a sure a desirable esthetic condition removing the patient's dentinal hyperesthesia. The patient had shown clinical improvement and since then he´s been in periodic accompanying
